How many times have you walked into a restaurant, cafe, or even an auto-repair shop, and thought to yourself:
“If someone came in here and started blazing, where would the best place to sit be?”
Think of the Luby’s Cafe massacre of Kileen Texas.
(Here’s the Wikipedia article on it if you’re interested.)
A mad-man drove his truck through the front window of a cafe, and began shooting the disarmed, innocent people inside.
You never expect something like this to happen, but it does. Very rarely, but it happens, and it could be any one of us.
If it does, there are a lot of things that will need to happen in order to get you (and your loved ones) out of there alive… but it ALL begins with where you sit.
“Back to the wall, facing the door”. I’ve heard that a lot, but truthfully, it’s a lot more confusing than that.
Well, USCCA forum moderator and resident war scholar thinks so to- and when he talks, we listen.
Here is a 6 minute tip all about this dilemma. Thank you CR Williams for making it for the USCCA member’s to watch.

I agree with the other posts. I have DSL which is not the best, but I always try to let the entire clip download first, then view. This time and a few others, this tactic did not work. Please make these tips available for those of us who would rather buy guns, than computer hardware!! haha!

Like so many others who commented, I too can’t view the video. Some of you say you have no problem. Well how about a written summary of what was viewed for those of us who weren’t fortunate enough to see it. Would be greatly appreciated by myself and others too.

I vividly remember the Kileen, TX incident because just a few months before, I and my my wife had eaten in a Luby’s Cafeteria at another location. After this happened, I, then and there got my CW permit. Mr Williams makes a lot of good points, althought you can’t always sit where you might want, you can always be alert to your surroundings.

I have to use Hughes Net as a provider and these videos are unviewable to me. There always needs to be a downloadable option.
Using pause just doesn’t work some of the time.

The audio keeps breaking up…You need to allow enough data download time ahead before beginning the video…

I would like to know a little more about the Ehood appendix holster. Firstly, how do you spell it? Secondly, would it fit a little S&W .357 magnum 5 shooter? Thank you. I carry my 6 month old granddaughter with me just about every where I go and am looking for the safest way to conseal as well as instill in her respect and value of life with wise and safety practice. I really feel it is getting more and more necessary to prepare for govt interference of my 2nd ammendments rights.

Had the State of Texas passed the Cocealed Carry Law earlier, things might have turned out differently at the Luby’s in Killeen.
The video was very choppy. That security data box kept popping up. Very annoying! I had to keep from dozing off during the video. What woke me up was when Phillip bungled the first attempt to attach that magazine extension. I was fine after that.

Great topic, but I couldn’t get the videos to work. Kept constantly buffering. how about offering them in a YouTube type format where you can pause and let it buffer. Too bad it was unwatchable.

I’m very disappointed. I’ve logged in several times and tried to view it but it
keeps telling me content unavailable.

I had no trouble viewing and listening to the video. Excellent tips, many that I had not thought of before such as being able to see what they are carrying.

The topic was great the streaming was so bad I couldn’t stand to TRY to watch more than 30 seconds of the second one.

Informative, BUT almost impossilbe to play. The video was clear, but the sound & picutre went in fits and starts that made it very difficult to enjoy and fully absorb. Someitme I receive vidieo that suggets allowing the clip to loaded for a completely load before attempting to view, but this video has no controls to allow that. I only mention it because I have high-speell internet,dual-ore Pentium 2.5gig processor & 4 gig of RAM. I’m pretty sure it isn’t my PC.
I tried each of the videos & all had the same problems. Seems like others had the same problem. Any ideas?

Most video files are to large to run on a dial-up connection, which is what I have. I could not run the videos

There is problems with the videos. Good info can still be gotten, it’s just not as effective as it could be.
