USCCA Donates $10,000 to fight for gun rights…
Every now and then, I get emails from people asking me to leave politics out of the USCCA.
They say that they LOVE the information we give, but they don’t want to hear about how ‘so and so may or may not be after our guns‘.
Here’s the deal: If you like drinking coffee, and some special interest group suddenly begins howling that coffee is a national health hazard, and it could save taxpayers $100 Billion per year if coffee were outlawed, you sort of have a decision to make:
“Is my passion for coffee worth fighting for? Or do I go with the flow.”
The fact of the matter is that guns are controversial… And if you’ve carried concealed for any amount of time, you already know that it really becomes a defining part of your lifestyle.
So… unless you are willing to give up the Concealed Carry lifestyle, you sort of have to recognize that it’s impossible to discuss Concealed Carry without bringing politics into it.
There are a LOT of people who don’t agree with your way of life, and they are willing to spend a lot of money and time to take your right to Carry Concealed away from you.
Well, I have big news- the USCCA is stepping up to the plate.
I’m sure you’ve heard about the Supreme Court decision from last year, which struck down Washington D.C.’s ban on handguns.
Well, now our allies in the gun-rights battle are going after the next biggest 2nd Amendment offender- Chicago, who also bans handguns.
In order for the case to even show up as a blip on the radar, a brief has to be filed, outlining the entire case. This can be VERY expensive- like, $30,000 expensive.
Well, the Buckeye Firearms Association is spear-heading the drive to have this brief written, and I have a huge announcement to make:
The USCCA just donated $10,000 toward this effort!
Become a member of the USCCA today, and know that your money is going toward making REAL change.

Excellent decision Tim! I can’t contribute a great deal financially as an individual, but what I can afford is my memberships in USCCA, 2nd Amendment Foundation, NRA, CCRKBA, and the California Rifle & Pistol Association. I’m hoping that my membership in those organizatios, added to by other members, can be used collectively to fight for something that has already been paid for in blood by those who have come before us.
My biggest plea to everyone is to do two things. 1. With whatever you can afford, join the organizations that can carry your voice to the legislatures and courts. 2. VOTE! Study the politicians, learn where they stand on protecting not just the 2nd Amendment, but all of the freedoms this nation is founded on. Then VOTE. Get your friends to VOTE. Get your shooting buddies to VOTE. Get your family to VOTE. It seems like not all, but a large number, of politicians don’t give a damn about your rights or about the foundations this country is founded upon. But they DO give a damn about being in office. If they work for you, VOTE for them. If they work against you, VOTE them out. But, just as our right to keep and bear arms is sacred to our continued freedom, VOTES are sacred to the politicians.

EVERY gun owner MUST also join the fight, personally, or you’re helping the ‘anti-gunners’!! GET INVOLVED ..Stay informed, & write letters, make phone calls, send FAXs to State & Federal politicians; AND, JOIN State & National Gun Organizations that lobby for our Gun Rights. NRA & 2nd Amendment Foundation are two of the best!! It appears a ’show-down’ is coming.. personally, I’d rather die standing up for my Rights, than on my knees, pleading for them!!

Dear USCCA,
Without inudating my post with endless (what some would call) conspiracy theories, I’d like to just do my part and make public note that our government/big brother is on a dynamic quest to abolish our (you and me) God given and civil right to bear arms/protect ourselves. The only way to keep them from doing so is to (1) educate our selves and (2) protest/stand up for what we believe in. While the everyday citizen is unable to donate the mass amounts needed to legislate, we (u and me) as a collective whole can change the world. USCCA is at the forefront and is what I’d consider the publics LOUD HORN! I’d just like to thank them and remind all that if u stand for nothing then you’ll fall for everything… Let’s fight for our RIGHT!

Tim, this was a good investment. The RIGHT TO BEAR ARMS is political and is directly related to the security of this country and the safety of our citizens. As you know, gun bans have allowed crime to soar in England , Canada and Australia while here in the US crime has gone down in States allowing concealed carry. The USCCA is a strong organization and along with the NRA we can win this political battle!
But we need to do more than donate money, we need to let our voices be heard. Keep up the good work.

If we do not fight to support our Bill of Rights as our Forefathers wrote them, (there are those in Government who wish to take them away to stay in control), once one right is deleted it is a simple process to eleviate all of the others.
Great Britain and its colonies are a prime example today. Germany during Hitlers war years from the past. Lets not add the U.S. to that list.

It would be nice to live in a world where we didn’t have to deal with politics but with the government trying to take over every aspect of our lives, that is just not possible. The threat to our gun rights is very real and very imminent. If we don’t do something about it now, we will soon find our 2nd ammendment rights (and our 1st as well) completely taken away.

Sounds like the prudent thing to do with
USCCA funds. All the organizations that we
belong to cannot stand on the sidelines and let other opposition organizations use their funds to work against us and our organizations not respond in kind.
