“USCCA Donates $10,000…”

USCCA Donates $10,000 to fight for gun rights…

Every now and then, I get emails from people asking me to leave politics out of the USCCA.

They say that they LOVE the information we give, but they don’t want to hear about how ‘so and so may or may not be after our guns‘.

Here’s the deal: If you like drinking coffee, and some special interest group suddenly begins howling that coffee is a national health hazard, and it could save taxpayers $100 Billion per year if coffee were outlawed, you sort of have a decision to make:

“Is my passion for coffee worth fighting for? Or do I go with the flow.”

The fact of the matter is that guns are controversial… And if you’ve carried concealed for any amount of time, you already know that it really becomes a defining part of your lifestyle.

So… unless you are willing to give up the Concealed Carry lifestyle, you sort of have to recognize that it’s impossible to discuss Concealed Carry without bringing politics into it.

There are a LOT of people who don’t agree with your way of life, and they are willing to spend a lot of money and time to take your right to Carry Concealed away from you.

Well, I have big news- the USCCA is stepping up to the plate.

I’m sure you’ve heard about the Supreme Court decision from last year, which struck down Washington D.C.’s ban on handguns.

Well, now our allies in the gun-rights battle are going after the next biggest 2nd Amendment offender- Chicago, who also bans handguns.

In order for the case to even show up as a blip on the radar, a brief has to be filed, outlining the entire case. This can be VERY expensive- like, $30,000 expensive.

Well, the Buckeye Firearms Association is spear-heading the drive to have this brief written, and I have a huge announcement to make:

The USCCA just donated $10,000 toward this effort!

Become a member of the USCCA today, and know that your money is going toward making REAL change.

They hate your way of life. We love it, and we thank you for having made the correct choice.

Stay safe,

  1. I agree with the USCCA donation. As has been said many times, we hang together or we’ll hang separtly

  2. it’s fish or cut bait time. Ideally we’d all love to leave politics out of our group but we no longer can afford that luxury.

  3. We absolutely must stand up for our rights and the Constitution. If we won’t who will. It’s time for us to get involved in politics and take back our nation.

  4. tim, you say, what is on your mind, like many only wish they could think! keep up the great job you are doing sir, i salute you! blessings, ol friend! mike

  5. You did right, before it’s to late

  6. If we don’t stand up for our rights we will lose them as the Nazi’s showed the world.

  7. BRAVO TIM! I am baffled to think that anyone who carries concealed and likes to learn from your articles would want to keep politics out of it. The two are inseperable. Many of us, like myself can remember when I could not carry concealed because it was nearly impossible to get a permit unless you were extremely wealthy or were some type of VIP (celebrity, politician, etc). The latter always seemed hypocritical to me in that a politician believed he had a right to carry to protect himself, but would vote to deny the citizens that elected him (or her) the very same right! The bottom line is that without political pressure and involvement we would most likely loose our rights to carry. Continue to fight the good fight and I will do what I can to support you as well.

    Respectfully,
    Eric T. Bertoch.

  8. THE USCCA IS AWSOME and I will be a member for life, keepup the great work you do !!!!

  9. I do think we need to defend the right to carry, as prescribe by the 2nd Amendment. I wish more could be done here in California. We are not allow to carry by the gun control groups. But, the criminal element has no trouble carrying guns to commit their crime against society, because they are protected by the gun control laws pass by the state legislature.

  10. If the vote fails and they violate our rights, remember this, there is always
one bullet one vote. That is really what they are afraid of anyway and why they wish to eliminate private ownership of firearms.

  11. i hope that keeping our rights doesn’t require us shedding our blood,,, again on our soil.

  12. I do not wish this to sound mean but how can anyone who carries a weapon be foolish enough to think that politics and guns can be seperate issues? They can not take our guns because their would be an uprising so they are withholding ammunition. Try buying a large quantity of 9mm or 45ACP. Also, maybe they should try thinking once in a while.

  13. Another “Gun Free Zone” Tragedy.
Apparently it’s not enough for our government that the heroes in America’s armed forces risk their lives overseas defending our freedom.

These days, our soldiers aren’t even safe here at home stationed on secure military bases.

On November 5th, a lone gunman murdered 13 fully-trained, ready to deploy soldiers, and wounded 29 more, in the most shocking terrorist attack on American soil since 9/11.

How was Nidal Hasan, a psychologist, able to take down so many trained soldiers? Because the government thinks its better to keep it’s armed service members unarmed . . .

That’s right. Our military men and woman are banned from carrying the weapons they are trained and trusted to use in the heat of combat.

President Clinton authored this asinine policy back in 1993 when he declared all military bases “Gun Free Zones.”

As you know, “Gun Free Zones” do nothing but assure criminals, and now terrorists, that they will find unarmed victims defenseless against a homicidal rampage.

Maybe I’m crazy, but I’d rather the soldiers delivered a barrage of bullets to end Hasan’s attack the second he opened fire.

I’d rather Hasan was dead and the heroes he murdered were still alive.

But because of Clinton’s ingenious policy of an unarmed armed forces, this psychopath methodically executed soldier after soldier before a local traffic cop could arrive on the scene.

If we didn’t have “Gun Free Zones” and our armed forces were . . . I don’t know . . . ARMED, Nadir Hasan would have met bullets instead of bodies.

On this Veteran’s Day, remember that the safety of our armed forces is of paramount importance whether it’s on the battlefield or here at home.

  14. Great site,Sorry I can’t join just not able at this time. Maybe later if I can start working again, that would sure help. Please keep putting out this valuable info so that I can keep up. And thanks so much. Rick

  15. Thank you Tim. The Chicago case is very important for gun owners and the country to win.

  16. Complacency is what allowed Hitler, Stalin and Chairman Mao the ability to disarm their citizens and become dictators. We have shed blood for hundreds of years toprotect our liberties. I’m waiting until Jesus comes back. then I will turn in my guns.

  17. There is no such thing as “conceal and carry” as it has been called in Minnesota media. With a valid permit, you can carry openly or concealed. Concealment is recommended for several reasons, but not required by law. You cannot lawfully carry a firearm without a permit.

Ordinary citizens defend themselves with a firearm 2-2.5 MILLION times every year in the U.S.

92% of the time, no shots are fired. Learn what you can and cannot do and be prepared.

If you ever need a gun and do not have one, you may never need one again. When they Pry My Dead Hands off my gun then they can have it!!

  18. You are right, no way to divorce CC from politics. Lets think of ways to keep foreign-born Muslims and the home-grown variety out of USCCA, NRA etc.
